Growing up in a home with few pets, with the exception of a stray kitten that audaciously (thankfully) stuck around for nearly two decades, a hole formed in my heart that I didn’t even know existed. That is, until my husband and I got our first puppy… Kodiak, a beautiful Siberian Husky. This FPP honors her and all the sweet dogs that fill our homes with joy!

Originally, I configured this foundation paper pieced pattern by hand on newsprint paper. It then got a few digital tweaks. It was created to be part of a larger quilt that I designed called “Double-Dog Dare,” also shown here in my gallery of quilts.
